Probable Cause

Solution

There is flow pass gas turbine sensor, but no instant flow displays on the flow meter display

Parameters has been changed in the flow meter display

Modify theparameters according to Silver Automation Instruments supplied certificate along with goods. This certificate indicate flow meter factor, flow range , factory No., pressure rating information.Users can reset the correct parameters into the gas flow meter display

No flow pass air flow meter, but display shows instant flow

Stop valve not closed well

Check the valve whether it has been closed tightly.

Too much vibration in the pipe

Take measures to decrease the shock in the flow meter pipe lines.

Not well grounded

Checkgrounding if it isearthling well, if not please ground well again.

Too muchStrong electromagnetic interference, such asfrequency changer, Motor, electromagnetic valve.etc

Judge by instant flow value (Q=3600f/k,f=50Hz,k=factor), you can see whether the gas meter has been affected by thestrong interference, ifI is indeedaffected, please re-stall the gas flow meters far away from the strong electromagnetic interference.

Gas turbine sensor take Normal flowmeasurement but not accurate measuring result

Temperature andpressure compensation problem(collect wrong temperature and pressure value)

Takemeasures to detect the pipelinetemperature and pressure value and to see whether it is the same as turbine display displayed, if the temperature and pressure is not correct, the temperature sensor or pressure sensor could break down, it is recommend to send the air flow meter to factory to repair .( this is only for SGW-D series temperature and pressure compensation gas turbine flow meter).

Parameters set wrong

Modify theparameters according to our supplied certificate, users could set the wrong parameters into the gas flow metersdisplay, please modify into correct ones.

Electrical board break down

We recommend to send back the gas meter to factory to repair .

Gas turbine flow meter take Normal gas flow measurement  and display gas flow is also correct , but flow meter output is wrong

Check the turbine flow meter manual book or contact Silver Automation Instruments :technician@silverinstruments.com to obtain the correct wiring method, then correct into right wiring.

Set the wrong flow range in the gas flow meter

Check the up limit valueset in the flow meterdisplay whether itis the same as the flow meter name plate indicate, if not the same ,please modify into correct parameters.
